Project HEAL prides itself on its rockstar team of uniquely talented and passionate staff and volunteers. Our team is millennial-led, and most of us have experienced eating disorder recovery, either from our own struggles with food and body, or through the struggles of a loved one.
We know that our programs will work for recovering people because they are built and run by those with lived experiences of eating disorders, from staff to local volunteers. Moreover, engaging volunteers in recovery enables us to support their healing with coaching, skill building, and empowering community.
We know that a more focused commitment to working with and developing talent—both professional and volunteer—will allow the Project HEAL family to thrive, bringing us closer to ensuring access to care, recovery, and healing for all of those suffering from eating disorders.
